Coping with Crisis and Urgent Support
If someone is in mental health crisis and their life is at risk, call 999 now or go to A&E.
If someone is in crisis, there are other routes of support.
NHS urgent mental health helplines can provide 24 hour help for you and your loved ones, refer you to speak with a professional and conduct an assessment. If you are in England, you can find your local urgent mental health helpline here.
The Samaritans have a helpline that is open 24/7 and can be reached on 116 123.
Use the Shout crisis text line by texting SHOUT to 85258.
